Nuremberg Toy Fair 2010 had begin! We were amaze by the crowd coming to the Fair. All of Distributors and Shops were queuing at the entrance waiting for the Fair to open. This year it was look like not many people could come due to the weather and snow. However, we were wrong… Their are many peoples more than last year coming to the fair. Luckily this year we planned on having more space in our booth plus having 2 entrances for better traffic and convenient for our guest visited. Our location was at Hall3 which is mainly for people looking for wooden toys

Welcome to PINTOY

At PINTOY booth, we were enjoy taken care of our guests. Highlight of our booth which seem like most of the guests like was taken photo with our PINTOY back drop. Another new idea we had were LCD monitor to run slide show of our products, movie clips, and some photos taken during the Toy fair, with light music to made our guest feel good when visited our PINTOY booth.

Football table 2 on 2

Lots of our guests visit by must challenged with the football table. They could play either One on One or Two on Two. The all time winner was Federic from DJECO who overcome all competitor with his shooting skill. However, it was a a fun toy fair this and we hope to see more people interested in wooden toy which would become trend for this world toy in the future as the nature concern more and more. Why? Because it used less energy to produced and many more advantage over other kinds of toy.

We arrived at Nuremberg toy fair 2010 Spielwarenmesse Three days before the Fair begins to start prepared our booth. Weather here is freezing more than other time may be because of global warming.

Booth construction was already complete by the time get there with all parcel for us to start our hard work. The first impression when we saw the new style of our booth was amazing. This year we have new stuff to impress all our distributors and visitors which is the backdrop with PINTOY brands logos as a background right at the center of out booth.At first, we were worried how would it come out but It was beautifully attached to the wall more than we imagined.

We took the first 2 days to set up and decorate our booth to be splendid so the day before the actual fair start we can have time for our customers and visit some neighbors. During our preparaion many friends stop by to say hi.We were very appreciate when people visit us at our booth.

On the Second day of our Pintoy Booth preparation. We spend about our day assemble our toys and furniture product. Fortunately most product were assembled from Thailand. and This was safe us a lot of time. Our logos made by ourselves from wood brought from Thailand were attached to the first panel. Most of the time we spend to decorate all toys in place to make it look great. All toys and games were place on the right side and furniture on the left. Miniature toys were located in the middle of the booth as you can see in the picture.

Third day, after everything in place. we are nearly there… we do clean up the floor and complete some little details left to make it perfect. We spend around 2 days and a little more then it’s all done. Thank to our PINTOY’s team for their hard worked

Pin International has won Intellectual Property Award

Department of Intellectual Property (DIP) announces the importance of intellectual property as a drive to creative economy according to government pilot policy, IP Champion Project. The summit awards are for entrepreneurs with the highest usage of intellectual property service and the highest turnover and earnings within 5 consecutive years.

On May 11, 2009, Mrs. Puangrat Asvapisit, director-general of the Intellectual Property Department, disclosed that DIP has organized a pilot project, “IP Champion”. This is a notification to recognize the essential of intellectual property and benefit that business will gain from utilizing intellectual property as the main drive forward to creative economy.

IP Champion Project commenced initially this year to select entrepreneurs who successfully use the registration service to protect and utilize intellectual property commercially. The committee consists of qualified professionals from Department of Intellectual Property, Department of Business Development and Department of Export Promotion. Major criteria in selection is determined by statistics on usage of DIP services, namely, number of applications on patent and sub-patent registration within 5 consecutive years (2004-2008), the highest turnover and earnings within 5 consecutive years as well as good corporate governance.

There are 2 award categories, patent & sub-patent and trademark.

Main qualifications of selected entrepreneurs are as follows: a Thai company with a minimum of 1,000,000 baht in registered capital, going concern, and user of patent & sub-patent protection, good corporate governance and cooperative & supportive to DIP activities.

She continued that there is a list of selected 20 entrepreneurs in each category. DIP has finalized into 5 entrepreneurs in each category

Pin International Company Limited – toy manufacturer and exporter.

Para Windsor Company Limited – office furniture manufacturer and exporter.
