John Crane Ltd goes to the dogs!
The team at John Crane Ltd have begun a very special partnership with the assistance dog charity, Canine Partners.
As the name suggests, the charity provides highly trained assistance dogs to people with disabilities. Canine Partner puppies are extremely intelligent and go through rigorous training to enable them to help their new owners with a host of difficult tasks, such as; handing over money at the supermarket checkout, emptying the washing machine, picking up dropped items and even going for help in an emergency!
John Crane Ltd is supplying wooden role-play washing machines to help the pups with their initial training! One of the actual Canine Partners, Emily, visited the offices last week and entertained the staff with her range of skills!
On seeing Emily in action, John Crane commented:- “It is exciting to be involved with such a worthwhile charity and we look forward to hearing updates on the new puppy training and how our products have helped.”
